Setting new standards for scaling, efficiency and professionalism in the administration of private debt fund strategies.

Zurich, 24 October 2025 – Solutions & Funds, a Swiss fund management company specialising in structuring and implementing fund structures, is bolstering its expertise in private debt. Therefore, it has entered into a partnership with Swiss software provider i2 group. This partnership will automate and further develop the management of investment strategies based on loans, particularly mortgage-backed loans.

This asset class is attracting considerable interest from asset managers and institutional investors thanks to its favourable risk-return-profile. Meanwhile, property developers are complaining about banks' increasing reluctance to grant loans due to regulation. Hence, a particular financing gap exists in the area of interim financing with high loan-to-value ratios. This gap could be narrowed by private capital seeking stable returns in Swiss francs in the current low-interest environment.

However, the largely manual administration of a high number of loans has become an increasing challenge and has so far hindered the development of this area. i2's software significantly facilitates cooperation between fund management, asset managers and loan servicers by simplifying operational processes and providing up-to-date insight. ”This cooperation enables us to offer our private label customers in the private debt sector an even more targeted and scalable range of services. We are specifically strengthening this area because we see great growth potential in it," says Thomas Zimmermann, Head of Business & Products at Solutions & Funds.

"The trust placed in us by Solutions & Funds is proof that our software sets the standard in the private debt sector," says Gregor Stadelmann, founder of i2 group.
